Michael Matlosz, President and CEO of The French National Research Agency (ANR) and Philippe Auriol, President of SuperGrid Institute SAS, signed the 6 of July 2015, in attendance of Thierry Francq, Assisting General Commissioner to the Investment, the agreement granting subsidy signed between the ANR and SuperGrid Institute.
After the European approval obtain the 16 of September 2014, this signature marks a new important step that will allow the Institute for Energy Transition (ITE) to obtain the funds of the Programme of Investments for the Future (PIA).
