New deliverable for InterOPERA:
Establishing the foundations for a multi-vendor, multi-terminal HVDC system
A major milestone has been achieved in the InterOPERA project: the release of the detailed functional specifications for the InterOPERA demonstrator.
This achievement reflects a long-term effort to set interoperability standards and mitigate risks in multi-vendor, multi-terminal HVDC technology for offshore wind integration.
This new booklet sets out the essential foundations for tomorrow’s HVDC building blocks, including:
- Coordinated DC grid control
- AC/DC converter stations
- DC switching stations
- DC-connected power park modules
Together, these specifications form a key step toward turning multi-vendor, multi-terminal HVDC systems into a practical reality.
