The proposed technology is an elastomer part that fits between the busbars and the power module housing and acts as an insulating screen. Demonstrators have been manufactured based on the XHP-3 housing geometry. However, the principle could applied on any types of packages. Dummy XHP-3 power modules and adapted busbars were also manufactured. Test conditions include clean, non-conductive pollution and conductive pollution conditions, each time with a dry and wet configuration.
