“Because training is the foundation of everything, we need to inform and train the future users of our technologies, whether they are students or professionals.“
Tanneguy Redarce, Training Program Director
The HVDC supergrid is a recent technological advance and is today in its early development and not well grasped, often leading to misinterpretation when discussing electrical power systems, transmission and distribution.
Our educational mission is to explain what a supergrid is and to render the information accessible to all through our training program. Further, it is to bridge the industrial and the academic worlds and to provide the means to educate future electrical power system engineers to be experts in the domain of supergrids. The need for supergrid experts drives the academic world to build curricula adapted to the industry’s needs. We, at SuperGrid Institute, have the knowledge and knowhow helping higher education schools and universities to adapt their curricula and provide the educational program including the specific options relating to HVDC supergrids.
