Experimental Test Rig. A modular facility adjusted to fit vertical shaft runners. Automation system and supervisor allowing quick performances assessment. All test operations and mode changing can be performed from the control room with automated valves.

A unique independent hydraulic test rig in France able to test in 4 quadrants reversible pump turbines. A long experience in model testing and visualization. Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations complete experimental results and give an overall view of the tested machine. Special methodology developed by Supergrid Institute allows numerical computations in “Off design” regions.
